Welcome to the State Board Issues forum. This forum is for nurses, other health care professionals, and even laypeople living in the real world dealing with unrealistic expectations, forced programs of "recovery", and the ofttimes incompetent bureaucracy of professional licensing agencies. This site was created for anyone participating in a state board impaired professional program, or involved in a disciplinary process, as a safe place to express your frustrations, fears and concerns. Our forum is an alternative to other forums as we accept venting, "war stories" and opposition to state board "recovery" policies such as mandated 12-step meeting attendance. Remember, this is a public forum.
