Yeah, we finally got our share of tha rain about 12:30 but it was just a steady drizzle. It stayed overcast and cool all morning mostly, great PB weather! Only had four teams show for the event so we asked 'em if they would rather save their $$$ for another event and just pay field fees and buy tha p8nt at tha same prices as the event and that helped 'em save even more. They all agreed that was cool. We ran the rec play like the tourney, tho, and kept score thru two rotations. Here are tha results: Team Land Lordz - 1st Place Finish 458 points (Novice) Team Silent Thunder - 2nd Place 398 points (Novice) Team Asphyxia - 3rd Place 288 points (Rookie) Team Silent Thunder, Jr. - 4th Place 44 points (Rookie) Tha rain got a little heavier during tha final game of the day and everyone packed it up after tha last match. All in all it was a GREAT day for balling and everyone sed they had a lotta fun! Don't forget to pass on to yer playas that we have a "Top Gun" event monyana - up to $500 cash at stake in tha series! Never got a chance to congratulate y'all on tha new team name. New playas, new name..... sounds like there's gonna be a bad storm a blowin' in from tha west!
