Subject: Wake up my girl, I got something to say to you.

He'd crept out of the room early and set to work in the kitchen - of course, as soon as Missy had heard him, she'd wandered out, and now he had her sat up on the cupboard mixing some frozen juice while he set together the tray. They finished up their work, and he had the girl walk ahead of him to open the door back up. She jumped on the bed, jabbering happily about the breakfast in bed they'd made for her.

He leaned, dropping a kiss to her forehead, and settling the tray across her lap. "And not a last." He could hear Amma up and about as well, and wandered out into the hall, sending Missy out with Amalthea to get the rest of the breakfast for them, so that he could sit in on the bed with Keisha, which he did with great relish, cuddling right up against her side. the little girl curls up in his lap, still in her disney pajama's, her long curls messy and untangled, falling way down her back. She nods , resting her head against his chest, staring up at her mother absently. She glances down at her daughter and smiles a little, though she couldn't help but be a little worried.... her little girl loved this guy, and she had no expectations that he would stick around forever.
