He was carrying her bags of groceries when they returned to the door. There had been a quiet, short worded dispute at the grocery store when he'd tried to pay. It was just as he had told Missy - he had money to spare and noone to spend it on, why not them? He looked up at her, waiting for her to open the door, and then made faces at Brandon while they waited. "You should have just let me pay."
