After 28 years of using, I will be clean 3 years on April 28, 2004. My life has gone from active addiction, visiting many rehabs and treatment facilities to working in a treatment facility. From being locked up over 100 times and serving 2 prison sentences, running from parole and probation officers to being called on by them to assist them in finding help for their actively using parolees and probationers. From hating God to having a most loving relationship with a awesome God of my understanding. This has given me the ability to give unconditional love in all the relationships that I have today. You see, I found out that this God of my understanding has been with me always, thats why I am alive and here today to share this with others. I have to give thanks to my higher power for carrying me to NA where I was given the hope I needed to live and not use just one day at a time, because thats how I got to where I am today.
