Subject: 326th fighter squadron, 328th fighter group

My father-in-law was stationed at Hamilton Field, Ca. for most of WWII. He was a tech Sgt. Armament Specialist. His squadraon was the 326th (until Mar. 1944). I have found no patches for this squadron (P-39s) until I found his. Would love to send a pic if anyone is interested (not for sale) it is leather. I do not know what the squadron disignation was after that date, only that they got P-38s and he was on board a ship headed for Guam when the war ended. Any additional information would be very helpful.
Thanks
Steve
