While looking for info on the AAF from WW2 I came across your site about disney insigni images. My Dad served in the 5th, and 10th AAF while in the CBI. He was with a small unit of about only 150 men and the only one of its kind. They started out in Birmingham, ALA in 1943 and from there overseas until the end of the war. He was in the "1st Tactical Air Communication Squadron" or what he calls the "1st Tac" I have his orig. squadron patch of Donald duck holding a radio with head phones on directing a plane dropping a bomb on a jap hut.He tells us that someone from disney drew it up for them I was wondering if you'd like to add a picture of his squadron patch to your book. It's really a neat looking one and in Ex cond. If you'd like to see it drop me a line and I'll scan it to you. You won't be disappointed.
