Subject: WW2 Royal Navy FAA Squadron emblem search

We are currently begining restoration of a GRUMMAN GOOSE, msn 1160. This A/C served as a GOOSE 1A with the Fleet Air Arm as FP 510 with 749 sqn.(Navigation Training) in Piarco, Trinidad (tough duty!). We are trying to trace down the RN sqn patch/shield for inclusion into the aircrafts history and may restore it in FAA colors. So far, no luck trying to go through FAA archives, searches so we hope someone out there has the artwork
