Subject: Patch Identy

I am trying to identify it. It was on my uncle's leather flight jacket. He was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corp.
The patch appears to be an angry hornet or wasp holding a bomb over his head (like he was going to throw it). I'm afraid that the jacket disintegrated when my Mother was cleaning after he passed. I seem to remember some other things on the jacket, like a pair of wings and propeller.
Anyway, if someone could tell how I could find out about the patch, I would be very happy. All of the records from his military were thrown away by my sister, even though I had asked for them.
