Subject: Q. Can you ID kangaroo holding a bomb & a spyglass?

Maybe you can help out this puzzle or I can add to yours.
I have my dads WWII b-29 patch he was in the 8th airforce kadena 44-45. The patch is a kangaroo holding a bomb in its tail and a spyglass in its hand...
any ideas of wing, squad, or group?
