Hi Larry,

Your description sounds like the 460th BS part of the 333rd BG. They flew B-29s and were based at Kadena AFB, Okinawa from 5th Aug '45 until 2th May '46.

Do you have a picture of the patch you could post or mail to me: yardstick@btinternet.com

I'd be very interested to see an example as I have not come across the patch before.
