Subject: Reproductions of WWII 493rd Bomb Gooup Patch

Recently attended the 8th Air Force Reunion in Savannah Ga. My Dad flew with the 8th AAF 493rdBG 861stBS. They did not have a "offical patch" After some research I did find a patch that was use during '43-'45 and I had some reproduced for the reunion. It was a great hit and all the guys remembered the patch being used. I gave one to all the 493rd vererans that attended. If anyone has a interest in buying one--the proceeds will go to the 493rd NexGen initiative, which is the sons and daughters of the 493rd veterans. I have a picture that I can send you if you would like to see the patch--it is beautiful.
