Subject: 80th ABN AA(anti-tank)BN-82ND ABN DIV WW2

i'm a member of the 80th abn asso.we try to help preserve the history of the ww2 vets of the 80th.my grandfather was part of the 80th.glider borne troopers who used jeeps to move trailers and thier 57mm anti-tank guns.jeeps were loaded into gliders and thier trailers with supplies and ammo.other gliders held men or thier 57mm cannons.i have a few pictures of jeeps being unloaded in holland.from FT.BRAGG to the end of the war they used the jeep as primary transport besides the gliders.might have a picture or two of them on parade with thier jeeps.lots stories about jeeps and thier the men of the 80th.
