My crush just told me about how his father used him as a punching bag when he was younger. He told me that he was deathly afraid of his father as a child and how he used to cower in fear when his father was around. He told me that his father would physically abuse him and emotionally, calling him stupid, worthless, and useless. His father would give him blows, just like a boxer does. He told me how he got a punching bag and began to punch it to get rid of the anger his father instilled in him, which made him stronger. As he punched the bag, he imagined that the bag was his father, and he hit it with all his might. He told me how one day, they got into a physical fight because he was tired of his father's behavior. He now says that they don't get along now and don't speak. My crush said that I am the only one he's told about this. He showed me his muscles, gave me a pleased smile, and said "See? my father has made me stronger. Look at all my muscles. I'm strong now, not the punching bag I used to be when I was a child and a teenager. Now my crush is 21, an adult. He asked me not to tell anyone what happened between he and his dad, not even his mother and brothers. Should I tell? Or keep the secret?
