The only thoughts I can offer right now are thoughts of hope. Let yourself hurt, don't fight it just yet. But keep in your mind the hope that this depth of pain will all pass eventually. Weeks, months, years - just don't lose hope.

I am so moved by your post, and I fear my response is trivializing your situation, and I don't feel that way at all. I started out by responding with such sadness with my own heavy heart over your situation. But I wanted to offer something more promising. Don't give up hope in a better day. But don't think you have to force yourself to be happy about this either. You deserve to cry. But in the back of those tears, keep a spark lit for hope.
