That's interesting. It seems, as most philosophies of hate do, to be paradoxical and hypocritical. I say this because basically the Bene Tleilax are an offshoot of humanity. I mean they basically are humans except they have genetically modified themselves to look the way they do.
So if they are human, how do they draw the line between themselves and other humans.
Basically you said that their faith is founded on those who are clean and those who are not. Well, what makes one clean then if all the Faith consists of is the belief in who is clean and who isn't?
Can anyone believe that they are believers and thus clean? Or is their some kind of criteria?
Certainly the Bene Tleilax have some parallels to hate groups in our own world, but I wonder what Herbert meant them to stand in for generally?
