...First off, the odd's of me seeing this message from the start are so low to begin with since I was just doing a google search for audience tapes (which to be quite honest I've listened to so infrequently since the early 90's), and then to stumble upon this thread that mentions this recording I made, and the trade that ocurred so long ago is wild.

Though my memory of our correspondence is fuzzy...I do remember you and your request, and being that I was over in Germany a couple years prior for the Dead tour I'm sure I felt a special appreciation for your request, since you were in Berlin and all.

I am flattered that you think so highly of that recording, and I've gotta say, I'm one of those people who has thousands of recordings (many of which are masters)that have been sitting dormant for years...I think YOU have just inspired me to break them out and see what's been hiding out in those boxes. Thank you for the kind words...and hopefully that tape sounds as good as you said it does when I pop it in my deck LOL
