NATO is in fact of extreme importance for the defence of USA itself, becaue NATO nations flanking the Eastern zone is host for surveillance equipment detecting all movements by Russian and other eastern possible adversaries. A good example is Norway, a country equipped with an advanced chain of radars that covers a huge area from the middle of Europ to Arctica, which is equipped with bases for submarines and bases for advanced surveillance drones, all of which is hided inside enormnous articicial mountain caves, and is held secret for the general public and even politicians. No cointry provide so much stories of UFO encounters like Norway, only that most of these encountres are those secret defence and surveillance vehicles casually seen by Norwegian citizens. Also USA has huge amount of weapons prestored in thes ecountries, and again Norway withits huge rock masses and tunnel complexes is the most prominent example. The fact that nuclear weapons probably also are prestored, without USA neither admitting, nor denying it has by the way been cause of much controvercies in Norway, a country that has taken a stance against these type of weapons on its own territories. The General secretary of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg is from Norway. He of cource has briefed Trump, but it sems that Trump by now has resceived enough briefing to understand the validity of NATO for USA itself. USA is also in badly need for help from the NATO countries for protection against the threat from radical and militarized Islam steadily more invading the western countries, and the NATO countries are also in badly for help from USA for the same purpose. The free lifestyle, personal freedom and of western citizens are in an utmost danger due to this invasive cancer. But we must beware that the protective measures against Islam will not curbe the freedom of wester citizens too, a tendency such protective measures already tend to have.
