這是一篇投訴稿。不知在甚麼時候開始,全港的郵政局增設了稱為「郵繳通」的服務,讓市民可以在郵局內,繳付水電費、電話費等公共服務帳單。此舉的原意,絕對是好的。
可是,在一些小型郵局內,自此就出現了人龍的問題!以我家附近的小郵局為例,本身只有三個櫃面,但居然有兩個被劃為「郵繳通」專櫃!只見來繳費的人甚多,天天排長龍,擠滿在小小的郵局內。但最令我不滿的是,郵局把人手大大花在「郵繳通」上,變相處理郵務的只有一個櫃面、一位員工,於是連寄包裹、買郵票這些只能在郵局辦的事,也要大排長龍了!
實在不能怪那些來繳費的人,因為我見他們大多是上了年紀的人士、阿伯師奶等等,自然不懂利用甚麼「繳費靈」、「繳費聆」、信用卡繳費之類的電子東西;郵局提供繳費服務,為的正是方便此類人士。
可是,郵局始終是「郵」字當頭,任何其他服務都只能算是額外的。若然在提供繳費服務之時,要犧牲正常郵政服務的話,則絕對是本末倒置了!
能否想像有一天,郵局兼做埋證券買賣?或賣報紙啤酒汽水?
