這是一篇投訴稿。不知在甚麼時候開始，全港的郵政局增設了稱為「郵繳通」的服務，讓市民可以在郵局內，繳付水電費、電話費等公共服務帳單。此舉的原意，絕對是好的。
可是，在一些小型郵局內，自此就出現了人龍的問題！以我家附近的小郵局為例，本身只有三個櫃面，但居然有兩個被劃為「郵繳通」專櫃！只見來繳費的人甚多，天天排長龍，擠滿在小小的郵局內。但最令我不滿的是，郵局把人手大大花在「郵繳通」上，變相處理郵務的只有一個櫃面、一位員工，於是連寄包裹、買郵票這些只能在郵局辦的事，也要大排長龍了！
實在不能怪那些來繳費的人，因為我見他們大多是上了年紀的人士、阿伯師奶等等，自然不懂利用甚麼「繳費靈」、「繳費聆」、信用卡繳費之類的電子東西；郵局提供繳費服務，為的正是方便此類人士。
可是，郵局始終是「郵」字當頭，任何其他服務都只能算是額外的。若然在提供繳費服務之時，要犧牲正常郵政服務的話，則絕對是本末倒置了！
能否想像有一天，郵局兼做埋證券買賣？或賣報紙啤酒汽水？
