講起收藏 DVD，不得不提最近的憾事。
話說電影《無間道》系列，最近推出終極珍藏版 DVD Box Set，一套八碟。其最吸引人之處，乃收錄了一個五小時版本的《無間道》，以三集的故事脈絡，按時間順序重新剪輯；我覺得這絕對是最大的賣點！其餘的甚麼名家設計外盒、一百頁精裝特集、為優先訂購客戶刻上專貴名字等，都是噱頭而已。售七百多元是否超值，真的見仁見智。
但問題是，作為一個喜愛收藏 DVD 的人來說，我一早已個別買了三集《無間道》的 DVD；雖然今次有點心動想買珍藏版 Box Set，但如果一買，其實是「重覆」了，家中那三隻舊版豈非十分浪費？
同樣的情況，近期亦發生在其他電影系列。諸如《Matrix》三部曲出了 Box Set，我亦是家中早就有晒三集 DVD。最氣人的，也閉O《魔戒》加長版。
《魔戒》第三集的加長版四碟 DVD 快將推出，我早就有了頭兩集的加長版 DVD（同樣各有四碟），正欣喜快將儲齊之際，忽聞會推出十二碟的全三集加長版套裝，只售六百多元！以往每集都要售三百多元呢！太早買，反而成為了一種遺憾！
