Subject: Why?

If one plus one equals two, and two plus two equals four
Why is four that many more?
And if Tigers are orange and whit e is a loon,
Why can’t rats be purple or maroon?

If cows go moo, and ducks go quack.
Why don’t cats say gurglesmurglesplat?
Why does Eminem rap, but Christina sing?
Because they’re just doing their thing.

Who do some people paint their nails,
And others try to talk to whales?
Why do some cry were others laughed?
Why do some like sidekicks and others Kraft?
Because they just do.

So why is it called a bed?
And why are others called dead?
Why do some read Harry Potter and others Redwall?
When the rest just go to the mall
Because that’s how it is.

So I only have one more small question to ask,
Why can’t maroon be the color of a rat?
