Subject: More Poems!

Alone

Alone I sit,
Wondering,
About myths and legends.
�Were they once real?�
I say to the wall.
I wish I could talk to someone,
But I am alone,
The outsider,
With no one to talk with.
�Why do people leave others out?�
I question the air.
It doesn�t reply.
I read, over here,
All alone.
�How do people get ideas for stories?�
I ask myself.
�I don�t know,�
I answer.
I am bored,
With nothing to do,
Except wonder.

He is dead

He is dead,
Laid out in the parlour.
She is weeping,
For her grandfather,
Remembering.
Her memories will remain,
Untarnished by the dust of time,
Forever fresh and clear as the now,
Laughing, smiling,
Having fun.
But now he is dead,
By the murderer�s hand.
She will have revenge,
Somehow.
Her resolve is hardened
Against this killer,
Who picked off her family
One by one.
An age-old curse,
Supposedly come to life.
Some believe it,
Many don�t.
She doesn�t believe it,
Not ever has she.
She will find out
Who the killer is,
And strike,
Like an avenging angel.
She will kill them all,
Whether one or many,
If she isn�t killed first,
The last of her line.
