Well friends, it has been a long time... yet again, the Coliseum has become a spare-time project (spare-time being something I don't have a lot of). It seems I have forgotten how many of you used to love to play here, and how much I loved commanding a game of such a capacity.

Just like the Roman games, that we took our name from, we too have fallen into nothing but ruins, a tourist attaction. People come by here and are like "wow, think about the battles that once took place here". This place is becomming a museum.

I did not lie to you though, I have been working on the new Coliseum, and I am finished with the background stuff, and now I am beginning to work on preparing it for my beloved members. What is here now, used to be some of the coolest stuff around, but the internet has grown, and so has my programming capacity. As you can see from the URL I gave you, I am toying with flash, and I also have many new tricks in store for you.

The new Coliseum, which is now known as The Arena, now is hosted on its OWN (as in I own it, so no ads) server. The Arena is member locked, which means no one can impersonate anyone else. I have developed a chain of command (game masters) which means that now there will be more than just one person working to run the game. We have moved away from a message board as our primary playing field, and now it will just be for average communication. The playing field is live, real time, and truely awesome. It will be a bit different for a lot of you, and you'll have to learn a new system, but it will be quite worth it in the end.

This site will remain as it is, unmodified, since Angelfire won't delete the account, and it is a testimate to our history and founding. A museum in itself.
