Subject: You're right Lucky. Mac (CB) was what the show needed to stay afloat. Even dpb and dje stated this fact in interviews. The ship came later. Also, I never saw the chemistry between CB and dje. CB even said in an interview that it was like kissing her brother. They weren't at all attracted to each other and CB is very much in love with her hubby.
