Now that I can actually think about Harm and Mac's history - rationally, I have 2+ questions/observations.
"Full Engagement" was Harm and Mac's first/last/closest thing to a date. Looking at it from this perspective, I can see why it was so long before they would actually get together.
Also, I was watching "Boomerang II," which I have nt been able to watch since it first aired, and it struck me this is the only time either Harm and Mac have actually made any kind of direct suggestion of "getting it on," or anything of that nature. Mac asks, "Is that a request?"
By the way, in the old days of this board there was frequent speculation of when Harm would call Mac Sarah. Well, it looks like Boomerang II is the only time.

Full Engagement is not the only one there was Heroes,Tribunal and other eps and when TPTB got greedy and paranoid over them it was mostly behind the scenes like Harm asking Mac out after some case victory or inviting her over to join him and Mattie etc.Remember TPTB's rule of dating without calling it dating? -- Jesse, 01:43:55 06/01/05 Wed

Actually, I think there was one other time when Harm called Mac Sarah. As he said goodbye to her at the end of "Vanished" when she was going off with Lowne, I seem to remember him calling her Sarah. But I think that it was better that he called her Mac in FWAFS since Mac was the woman that was his friend for so long before they became lovers. Mac left JAG at the end of Impact...Vanished was where we first heard (or that I remember hearing) Harm's concern about her leaving. I agree, I was glad to hear her called "Mac" in the big FWAFS scenes. By then, "Sarah" was the name for Clay and Mic to use. -- Deemus, 07:04:27 06/03/05 Fri
When Harm saw Mac at the start of the trial of the Petty Officer accused of killing his wife's 'one night stand', in 'Rendezvous.' He said 'oh my goodness, the Adm. sent Sarah MacKenzie.' It wasn't really addressing her as 'Sarah', but does it count??? Whatever, I'm glad 'Mac' was his 'operative' word in FWAFS...
