Subject: Hey, I got the SANYO brand for my b0day, and trust me, it IS WELL WORTH IT. It is sooo nice. I'd been wanting one for about 7 months, and yes, it was almost $300, but go with namebrand. I think its more trustworthy. I have enjoyed mine so much, and I plan to put all my videotapes to DVD...my dvd recorder can transfer VHS tapes to dvd, and dvd to VHS easily.
