Subject: Many of the name brands are actually made by the cheaper manufacturers, and when it came to VCR's many consumer electronics advisors suggested buy the cheapest VCR. I am using the same theory. Now I have been seeing Sanyo's, Phillips, etc for $179-$185. The added VCR seems to add alot to the pricepoint. I own so many VCR's that I figured I could deal with the connections for recording my old JAG tapes to DVD.
