Subject: Speaking of home cooking, I distinctly remember four years ago at Sewell. Reggie Jackson made a clean steal and was headed down court on a fast beak for the winning shot when he was called for a foul. He was literally 20 feet past the Bobby Mo guard when the foul was called. That sticks in my throat to this day.

  • Can remember it like it was yesterday. (NT) -- WashpaRick, Friday, November 19, 10:33:22am
  • I wasn't at the game you mention but still get ticked off when I read the comments about the ref's late call by those who were there. Perhaps the ill-advised pre-game trash talking Velton Jones' comments will further the resolve of the Dukes to whip RM. I hope there will be a lot of Dukes' fans at this game. Note that with the sale of RM's D'town class room bldg. to Duquesne, they will technically no longer be a city of Pittsburgh college. This leads me to ponder: with RM's lack of a physical presence in the city, can the rivalry truly be described as being crosstown? (NT) -- Always a Duke, Friday, November 19, 01:14:02pm
