The coaches, I hear, are very high on Rod, and think he can be a major force on this team. We've only seen flashes because we only get to see him in games. Personally, I'd like to see Marhold and Wright get more minutes because I think both have a high ceiling. I like Rod and would love to see him step it up, but my own observation is that his upside is along the lines of Jack May. That's certainly not a bad thing either. -- Duquesne Dukes Basketball Forum

Basketball is HUGE in Brazil and I had high hopes for Rod. Can he still turn it around? Maybe so....he should take a lesson from Aaron Jackson and play with a sense of urgency.
