Subject: 純粹論馬，並不針對任何人：我認為短途錦標真有一級水準，其他三場都只跑出group2賽果。另想提出，要衡量國際賽水準，沒有必要一定與本地馬表現拉上關係，本地馬主場之利，相對外來馬跑高些也正路，日本盃及巴登大賽都經常由本地馬贏出啦﹗(內文)

而國際賽辦了多年，外隊已模通部署竅門，一就派「愛麗數碼」或「飛霸」來橫掃，或者派一些實力超二級但以往曾受傷用得少的馬如「嘉比奧」「歷山金駒」之流。香港國際賽基本上已經被世界馬圈定性為一級遺材/安慰賽，水準怎也不會太高，但由於外隊已洞悉竅門，日後像「計得精彩」那一屆本地馬連贏三盃的機會已不大。
