~*~Eery silence spread over the lands like a tsunami from the coast. No birds took flight, no crickets sang, even the falling waters seemed to mute themselves. Not a sound was heard. Through the suffocating silence one cry is made. The piercing cry of the hawk ripped through the silence, the cry cut off as quickly as it began. The arrow of darkness was lodged in the bird's breast. Silence returned once more as the raptor met with the unforgiving ground. One sacrafice, to save a land of light, would they realise the price he paid? A land of life now exsists, now thrives and lives under the sunlight's rays. All this, for the fall of the hawk.~*~
