about coming to Florida. First, YAY!! Second, it all depends on what part of Florida you plan on visiting, but you'll find different kinds of weather throughout the state. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the area we live in (northeast corner) has more defined seasons than we thought it would. It can get really cold in the winter (lows in the 20s and teens). Summer months can get pretty hot but not as hot as Miami and such. Orlando is inland so it's usually hotter than the coastal cities. I can say that there's less humidity where we are during the summer. It does get humid just not as often as south of us. We have found that the best weather here in our area is the month of March. November through February can be cold (I know, our cold is like spring to you!).

So, if you need more specific info and have an idea of which part of the state you want to visit, let me know.

~Laura~
