Subject: Some tips

I meal plan alot. I usually write on a calendar what I am going to make, while at the same time making my grocery list. Fridays I usually have "fun food" - pizza, nachos - or whatever you or your family deem as fun. Two of the 14 days are for leftovers, and two others are for more elaborate meals - mine usually include a pot roast, roast chicken etc. So there are 8 more. 2 days are pork (sausage, chops, ribs, or tenderloin), 2 are beef (ground, or steaks etc) 2 are chicken, 2 are fish and the final 2 are pasta - so I figure out the meals (and side dishes) and then arrange them on the calendar so there is variety. The best thing about the list, is that you can look at it in the morning and take out what you need to thaw and by late afternoon its ready to cook (except for a lg chicken or roast which needs about a day and a half for thawing)

Good luck and hope this helps!

Heather
