Geez..too bad you can't paint but I definitely agree that it is too much trouble to re-do it when you move. There are lots of ways to enhance your fishy bathroom. I have a tiny half bath decorated in tropical fish. You can get a plastic sand pail from the dollar store to use as a trash can. Get another one to sit on the counter and fill it with different colored wash cloths or hand towels folded in half then rolled up jelly roll style. Hang a little shelf and then fill an old bottle with about an inch of sand. Scribble a note on piece of paper, roll it up and stick it in the bottle. Put a cork in the bottle and lay it on it's side on the shelf and then add a few sea shells to the shelf. Use duct tape underneath the bottle so it doesn't roll off. Take a pint jar and fill it with those sour worm candies or gummy worms, hot glue the lid on and sit it on a little shelf. Sit a tackle box on your counter to hold cotton balls, dental floss, q-tips, extra bars of soap, etc.

Hang a fish net in the corner of the room and extend it out on either side. Then attach a beach ball to the net (tie dental floss around the air valve the tie it to the net) use duct tape if needed to hold it in place LOL! Then hang a pair of sunglasses from the net, sprinkle around a few shells, a bottle of sunscreen would be cute, etc. Oriental trading company has nets for $3.95 you can't pick your color so might not work if you don't already have one of these colors in the bathroom.

Ooh then you could get these little foam fish to stick around on the net too - 200 little fishies for $2.95

Do you like crabs? LOL Hermit crabs are cheap, easy to take care of, hypoallergenic, and can live in a cute little cage that would fit perfectly on the back of the potty LOL! We have 3 at our house (Chelsea's critters)

Wal-mart has brightly colored plastic cups - 4 or 5 for a dollar right now. You could get one for each of the boys to keep their toothbrush in. Use a paint pens to write their names on the cups.

There that about takes care of the kid's bathroom LOL! And all could be done for around $20. What kind of ideas do you have for your bedroom and bathroom?

Thanks for your advice for me with Chelsea. I will keep it all in mind!

Stacey
