Subject: OK, here's why I was testing...(m)

I just wanted to share a special moment I had with my little boy yesterday:

The three of us went to the supermarket. As we were walking through the aisles, we happened to pass through the greeting card section. While I had my back turned looking for q-tips, Chris spotted a card that he just HAD to get for his Mommy. He told me not to look and was trying to hide it behind his back. Like all good Mommies, I told him I had my eyes closed and wouldn't even think of peeking! He had his Daddy put him in the cart and he said he wanted to surprise me right then (he couldn't wait until we got home) and that he would sign it when we got home. He handed me the card and I almost cried right then and there in the store!!! He was sooooo sweet!!! He told me he gave it to me because I was sooo nice to him and I take care of him and he loves me!! OH MY HEART!!!! So, attached you will find the outside and inside of the card. He indeed did sign it when he got home, with a little help from Daddy. Actually, the only help he got from Daddy was how to spell Mommy. The rest he wrote by himself! He was so proud that he already knew how to spell "to"!!! And, of course, it didn't matter in the least that it was an Easter card from a wife to her husband!!! He thought it was pretty and picked it out just for ME!!!!!! LOL!

Now, little girls probably will do things like this a lot. I think boys do it less frequently and each and every time it touches my heart deeper and deeper. He's my little sweetheart and he has possessed my heart since conception!

Thanks for letting me gush,

~Laura~

Here are the pictures of the card:

He even drew a heart and a flower - my favorites!
