I just haven't had time to get online. I am SO sorry you are going through this. I am going to suggest that you DO call the people who offered a helping hand and take them up on it. Even if they just watch the kids for a few hours...maybe help make dinner or bring you over a dish. Maybe this weekend they could take the kids for a few hours so you could get some sleep, take a nap. You said your MIL will be coming on your trip...can she help drive and let you nap then?????Try to use her being around to help YOU get a break. Maybe she can watch the kids for a bit so you and DH can have some time and talk.....

Just take advantage of any help you can get. Don't think you are imposing on someone. I used to ALWAYS feel that way, but when I had my accident and again after Elizabeth was born, I discovered how much I needed to accept the help. Can I also add that one way God's love is given to us comes through the HELP of others. That is a way HE spreads HIS love, by unconditional love and help. Just accept it and know it comes from the Father:-)
