Subject: Trooper versus Xterra

I am looking at replacing my old 1999 isuzu trooper 170K miles. I did take it out to the boonies a lot because we do a lot of outdoors stuff. I am trying to decide whether to try to get a low mile trooper or go with a newer Xttera. How would you folks compare the two vehicles? I like the Troopers storage and it was good off the road (you just have to overlook that ridiculous front grill they gave it) But I am interested in the Xttera because of better safety features, newer vehicle. Anyway I am interested in opinions on this. Thanks
