Sulphur smell almost always means something's not right with the exhaust system. Was it emitting the smell when you had it at the dealership?

I can remember that the old style Z used to stink of rotten eggs when you shut the engine off when the car was brand new and had less than a couple hundred miles on them. It wore off very quickly, but when they were brand new, the exhaust system was nasty.

Boy, that's a weird problem, because how do you measure a smell in order to quantify it?
The brightest minds at MIT cannot create a machine that can sense odors anywhere near what a human nose can. Unlike sights or sounds, smells are hard to measure. There is no machine to hook up to your Xterra.
