Well Chris, I can't complain about that because I too have become old and warped and lost my ability to get a grip. :-)

That having been said, this is not something I would try to fix myself. Even if you get it right, you run the risk of having it malfunction again. By their very nature, windshield wipers are only put to the test when it's important that they work.

It's just not something you can afford to be less than 100% certain about. So I would take it to a reputable mechanic.

The good news is that it sounds like it's something fairly inexpensive to fix. Please do let us know how you make out with it. Would love to hear the end result.

  • Good news it's easy to get a look at the bits, just remove the plastic cowl between the windshield and hood. Maybe a screw or two at each end, and something w/ the antenna, otherwise it's just pins. (NT) -- OffroadX, 18:15:01 06/19/09 Fri
