Subject: 2000 X fuel tank vent problem

Something's up with the fuel tank. I can only fill it if I put the gas in extremely slow, no matter what gas station. I've had it to one of the local dealerships and my usual mechanic. Nissan said the solenoids are ok and they would have to pull the tank and possibly replace it. I had my mechanic pull it and check it out. He can't find anything wrong. The vent hose is clear, etc.

The interesting part is when he called around to the junkyards to check on a used tank, no one has one. I had to get on a waitlist and it will be $200. It's only the 2000's. After that, they have plenty.

Has anyone run into this?
