Sorry I haven't replied in a while. My husband bought a new computer while home and all my favorites are gone. Took a while to find this site again. Well, I got the timing belt changed and still had the problem. They did replace the seatbelt, so that's all fixed. The dealer said no it's not the distributor, but we think it's the intake throttle valve? that needs to be cleaned and possibly an IAC? that needs to be replaced. A friend told us to take it to his mechanic at Firestone and they did a diagnostic for free and looked under the hood. He said that the spark plug wires needed replacing and the distributor. Showed my husband the signs. They did a tune up and no more problems. Oh, and the dealer said that it wasn't the wires or the distributor, they were fine. Won't be going there again. Thanks again for the advise.
