Every dealership has different terms for different services, so you should prolly ask them to spell it out for you. Worst case scenario, having it done is like chicken soup for a cold- couldn't hurt.

If you could do it yourself will also depend upon what "it" is, although it is unlikely you have the tools to do such things as mount and balance tires, do a dianostic electrical service, etc. Also these days you cannot just toss your old oil down the drain.
