Subject: Seriously considering the '06 X but...

the off-roading I want to do is not quite as xtreme as I've read on this board-no class 4 or 5 roads...yet, anyways. However, I do like to play in the mud.

So, I'm debating over the model and the unknown of how far I will go with this off-road addiction I'm suppressing ;-).

I will also need to use it as an everyday driver, to tow my '72 Super Beetle to shows (have to check weight 1st), to camp with, etc. I've read all the specs and visited many sites, trying to get as much info as I can on this, and a few others vehicles that I'm also considering.

I don't know why, yet, but I keep coming back to the X.

Have any comments or suggestions?
