Subject: Parking brake light comes on randomly??? (while driving!)

Just started doing this last night. The "BRAKE" light illuminates on the instrument panel, even though the brake is not engaged. I stop and engage the brake, then release it....the light goes off.......then I pull back on the road and start driving, and the light comes back on!!!

Any ideas????
