Thanks. I'm going to go to Autozone and see what they can do. I don't want to pay for another diagnostic from a dealer. Tonight it was damp/humid outside and as soon as I put it gear it started to putter, until I got it on the road without stopping for a few minutes then it ws fine. The mechanic's cost of the knock sensor is $221, I saw it online for $129 and some intake gasket set for $40, I know that is about $25-$30 over priced. Labor $315. I still don't think this is the problem. Thanks for any advice.
