Replace the fan switch resistor that is under the dash below the glove box. It looks like a credit-card size circuit board in a plastic housing plug. 2 screws,unplug the unit, plug in new one, and less than five minutes and it's done. The part is less than $25. DON'T take it to the dealer or you'll pay $45 for the part and $100+ to install it. Gee....how do I know this? :)
