Subject: Didn't know this place was still around!

Hi, I had been around this place a bit back when my X was new (fall of '99) and got a lot of good info from people - thanks!

Now it is 7 years old, nearly 110K miles, and I still love it. It had one bad accident (someone slammed my driver's door/front wheel - $8K in repairs), but other than the plastic pieces being faded, it looks pretty new still. Funny, when we got my wife's Altima in the spring, the dealer wanted to buy it back from me. I told them hell no!

It is in right now to get fixed - 2 cracked exhaust manifolds. Was this a problem on the first models? (I'd search the board, but didn't see a search function) I believe mine had 2 replaced under warranty, so the current ones are the 3rd and 4th time it has happened.

I still love the truck and plan to keep it as long as possible. It swallows all of my outdoor gear and goes wherever I ask it.

Hi to all, and good to know you folks are still around. I see some names I recognize from 7 years ago!
