I've given it some thought, and it seems to me this is the best thing they can do to get the economy going. Of course, it means it would have to be on U.S. built cars, so then they get into the weird, "What about foreign brands made in the U.S. and what about U.S. brands made overseas?" question. Not sure how that would shake out.

What do you think about this? Honestly, I would tell everyone I know to take advantage of it. And it seems to me if they want to throw money at banks- wouldn't it be better to give it to consumers to buy cars instead?
