Hello everybody,
Murdville has actually moved to the age of TS3 during the end of June, but our new website just got finished today. Our web adress it http://www.freewebs.com/murdville
As Murdville's previous spokessim, Preya Ramaswami, has already told you, 3 of TS2's families have moved in (Phoenix, Ramaswami, and Anthony), along with a few new families. It turned out that the TS3 world was a world that existed before our old, flat world and back then, a different town called Murdville already existed so we allowed the other Murdville to join our community.
Now onto the new changes in our website. The main change is that we went from GeoCities to Freewebs because of Yahoo's announcement of closing GeoCities. There are no more diaries/journals/blogs. That feature has been made into a feature in our online newspaper called "Community Voice". One resident will be picked at random each day and will write an article in the "Community Voice" section. It could be an opinion, a plan, an announcement, or anything that the resident wants to write. RESIDENTS, KEEP IN MIND THAT YOUR ENTRIES ARE EDITED. ANY OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT WILL BE CHANGED OR REMOVED.
Of course, the website is small right now, but we do plan to add some stuff. One of the features expected to be added very soon is a "Tour Murdville" feature where visitors can see every landmark of Murdville.
Finally, we would like to give thanks to a SimScientest named Flabalki. He/she discovered a way to empty the only two neighborhoods that exist in this world, so we could create our own neighborhoods.
