Subject: Agree with the sentiments but they are just that - sentiments. As a Welsh-speaker myself I know that there is enormous cultural worth in learning and speaking the the language. However, it can only be done through positive steps - forcing people just won't work - not even in the Fro Cymraeg. You just have to accept that some people don't want to speak our national language. I don't persoanlly agree with that stance but you have to respect it. I'd rather concentrate resources on the rapidly-increasing numbers that *do* want to learn the language.
